Pet supplies brand · Brand identity

Brand identity for a pet supplies company.

FurKeeps sells pet supplies under one promise — Happy Pets, Happy Life. We built the identity it trades under: a wordmark and character system, a six-step documented design process, social launch tiles, print stationery and a sales presentation deck.

The brief

FurKeeps had to stand out on a shelf and in a feed at the same time — warm enough that pet owners pick it up, disciplined enough that retail buyers take it seriously.

Decisions

Three decisions that drove the design

01

Personality lives in the mark.

The pet aisle defaults to bright colours and cartoon noise. The play stays inside the wordmark and the dog-and-cat lockup; every other surface stays calm, so the brand reads as a product owners trust daily.

02

One chord from feed to shelf.

A consumer brand gets judged on a phone and on a shelf in the same week. Social tiles, print and packaging carry the same colour and character system, so it reads as one brand on both.

03

The sales deck is a deliverable.

The founder needed something to carry into retail and distributor meetings, so the identity shipped with its own presentation deck — the brand arrives before the pitch does.

What we built · Identity

The mark, built in six documented steps

FurKeeps primary logo lockup — the wordmark with paw-print accent
FurKeeps six-step logo design process panel

Research and concept, sketches, refinement, colour exploration, final mark — each step documented and shipped to the client as a deliverable in its own right.

What we built · Colour and type

A warm colour and type system

Orange and green carry the play; sage and cream calm the surface, so the brand stands out on a shelf without competing with itself.

Every letterform in the wordmark does brand work. Underneath, a working sans stays disciplined — fast on a social tile, clear on a printed envelope.
